Biochip equipment include a compact and high-capacity biochip reader, a reusable piezo-electric biochip arrayer head, an automated biochip hybridization oven, and an all-in-one fluidic system capable of biochip fabrication, processing and analysis. Imaging systems include a confocal laser scanning microscope, a confocal scanning ophthalmoscope, a retinal scanner for personal identification, and an endoscopic fluorescence imaging system for early cancer detection. Telecommunication components include high-power surface emitting lasers (HPSEL) for optical amplifiers and transceivers, and optical bus.
