The current desktop speakers out on the market don't have the ideal sound quality for they are often distorted, muffled, or difficult to hear. Desktop speakers are also bulky and not very mobile. NDR Tabletop Vibration Audio Device (TVAD) digital speaker that uses, instead of diaphragms, a tabletop (wood, glass, plastic or any solid sheet) and such, on which it is placed, to render sound. The device mainly uses a super magnetostrictor that extends and shrinks in line with magnetic field changes. The actuator converts input sound into vibration and conveys it to the tabletop so it renders sound. TVAD has no moving coils, cones or surrounds, which makes the TVADS extremely reliable to withstand abusive environments and maintain a long service life
By inputting any sound signal to the TVAD, the Speaker will turn any hard flat surface such as an office desk, classroom table, or conference room table into high quality sound. It does this by transmitting clear sound through the table, so volume is heard equally from all seats around the table.
The TVAD has a built in sound amplifier that can be directly connected to laptops, projectors, CD players, DVD players, iPod, videoconferencing systems, and other AV equipment through its 2.5 mm jack in which the DC power and sound signal is input in.
No longer will you need to attach speakers to your laptop and hope that the person at the far end of the table can hear and that the person closest to you isn't blasted out of the room. The TVAD is an amazingly compact device that is revolutionizing computer-driven presentations. |
